Alongside acupuncture, Wyld and Well offers a small selection of supportive therapies that work deeply with the body and nervous system. These treatments can be used on their own, or alongside acupuncture, to support physical health, emotional wellbeing, and fertility.
Each treatment has been chosen to fit in with acupuncture so we have been very particular in services offered,
Each therapy is chosen intentionally - to help the body release tension, improve circulation, calm the mind, and create the internal conditions needed for healing.
Fire Cupping Therapy
Fire cupping is a traditional therapy used in Chinese medicine to improve circulation, release stagnation, and support detoxification.
How fire cupping supports the body
Improves blood and lymphatic flow
Releases muscle tension and deep tightness
Helps reduce pain and inflammation
Supports detoxification pathways
Cupping is particularly helpful where symptoms feel stuck, heavy, or chronic - such as tight shoulders, lower back tension, digestive sluggishness, or pelvic congestion.
Mental & emotional benefits
From a Chinese medicine perspective, physical stagnation often mirrors emotional holding. Fire cupping can help:
release stored tension and stress
create a feeling of lightness and ease
support emotional processing and release
Many people report feeling clearer, calmer and more open after treatment.
Fertility support
Cupping may be used gently alongside fertility support to:
improve circulation to the pelvis and lower back
support uterine and ovarian blood flow
reduce stress held in the body
It is always used appropriately and avoided during sensitive phases of the cycle.
Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage is a deeply calming therapy focusing on the scalp, neck, shoulders, upper back and face - areas where stress is commonly held.
How it supports the body & mind
Reduces physical tension in the neck and shoulders
Relieves headaches and jaw tension
Encourages deep relaxation
Improves sleep quality
This therapy works directly with the nervous system, helping the body shift out of “fight or flight” and into a state of rest and repair.
Mental health & emotional wellbeing
Indian Head Massage is especially supportive for:
anxiety and overwhelm
mental fatigue
emotional burnout
poor sleep
It can help quiet racing thoughts and create a sense of grounding and safety - something many people find difficult to access in everyday life.
Fertility support
By calming the nervous system and reducing stress hormones, Indian Head Massage can be a helpful supportive therapy for fertility, particularly for those experiencing:
stress-related cycle disruption
emotional exhaustion during TTC or IVF
Acupressure Therapy
Acupressure uses gentle, targeted pressure on acupuncture points to influence the body’s internal systems - without needles.
How acupressure supports the body
Encourages circulation and energy flow
Supports digestion and hormonal balance
Helps regulate the nervous system
Can ease pain, tension, and fatigue
It is a gentle but powerful therapy, suitable for those who prefer a non-needle approach or want additional support between acupuncture sessions.
Mental & emotional benefits
Acupressure can be particularly effective for:
anxiety
stress
emotional regulation
feeling “wired but tired”
It helps signal safety to the body, supporting emotional balance and resilience.
Fertility & hormonal health
Acupressure may be used to:
support cycle awareness
reduce stress around ovulation and the luteal phase
encourage relaxation and body trust
complement fertility-focused acupuncture
Why these therapies matter for overall health
Modern life places significant strain on the nervous system. Chronic stress can impact:
hormones
digestion
sleep
mental health
fertility
These therapies work by helping the body return to balance — not forcing change, but supporting the conditions in which healing can occur.
A personalised approach
At Wyld and Well, treatments are always tailored to the individual. Therapies may be offered:
on their own
alongside acupuncture
as part of fertility or hormonal support
or simply as space to rest, reset, and be cared for
